In August 2011, Cadigal had two employees and Andrew Keller was one of them. Fifteen years on, he is still here – and much of what Cadigal is today, he helped build.
Since then, Andrew has leased over 100,000sqm across the Sydney CBD, Pyrmont and Surry Hills. His campaigns include 1 Bligh Street, 167 Macquarie Street and 55 Clarence Street. Today, as a Director, he leads the leasing at Angel Place (123 Pitt Street), 9 Castlereagh Street, 207 Kent Street, 35 Clarence Street and 137 Pyrmont Street.
In that time, the Sydney market has moved through its full range. Cycles have turned, new towers have reshaped the skyline, and what tenants ask of an office has evolved several times over. Through all of it, Andrew has been a constant – reading the market closely, staying near to his clients, and building a depth of Sydney CBD knowledge, street by street.

We asked Andrew to reflect on his time at Cadigal so far. Here’s what he shared:
“Fifteen years ago, three highly experienced leasing professionals set out to build a new agency and took a chance on an unknown – someone with zero leasing experience, a basic understanding of the Sydney CBD, a willingness to learn a new craft, and values that seemed to align.
Very few people get the opportunity to board a rocket before lift-off, but from the outset, Cadigal felt like it was destined for something special.
A client-centric mindset, collaboration, a desire to “be better”, humility and, most importantly, having fun were hallmarks from day one.
It has been a privilege to be part of a company that understands property exceptionally well, but understands people even better.
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities, appointments, friendships, laughs, and countless memories made along the way.
At every annual review, I’m asked the same question: “Are you happy?” For 15 years, the answer has always been the same.
Here’s to many more transactions, appointments, successes (and challenges) and, most importantly, plenty more Cadigal good times.”
Fifteen years, with the same square kilometre of Sydney at the centre of it. Andrew has given it steady, thoughtful attention throughout – and Cadigal is the stronger for it.
If you ask him how he’ll mark the milestone, the answer is likely unchanged from any good weekend – a cheers to the occasion, a brief pause for reflection, and back to it on Monday.
