363 George Street, now the focal point of ISPT’s 3 building complex known as George Place, is a high quality A+ grade tower. It’s in a dynamic and pivotal location bordering the Core CBD, Midtown and Western Corridor Precincts.
In mid 2011, ISPT were faced with a 55% vacancy exposure at 363 George Street due to the relocation of anchor tenant Commonwealth Bank/ Comsmec.
Cadigal were engaged specifically to identify and target major tenants and establish a quality marketing campaign to assist in the repositioning of the asset.
Through an intensive period the team was successful in attracting the major commitment of TAL who secured 11,000sqm with a Lease Commencement Date just 4 months after the CBA lease expiry date. TAL relocated from Milsons Point, and represented the largest tenant to move into the CBD for many years.
hey were attracted to the quality of the building and its management, the large rectilinear floorplates and certainly saw great value in the sky signage rights in the centre of the CBD.
